POSCO & SEXUAL HARASSMENT COMMITTEE

Keeping in mind the safety of the children and staff, New Era Academy has formed a ‘Pocso & Sexual Harassment Committee’ constituting of parent, staff and student representatives as well as members from the management.

As a safety measure, all teaching, non-teaching and support staff of New Era Academy have been sensitized about POCSO. Students from Classes III onwards are periodically sensitized about ‘Good Touch & Bad Touch’. In the middle school, sessions on ‘Gender Parity’, ‘Adolescence Education’ and understanding ‘Puberty’ are conducted to ensure that students grow up as responsible individuals.

The following members is constituted under Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act (POCSO Act) 2012.
